Earth & Essence
Earth + Essence / Ecopsychology + Amazonian Shamanism
Earth + Essence is an in-depth transformative program for inner awakening, based in the Indigenous practice of the “dieta.” This program involves the ritualized use of herbal remedies, 10 group classes, 1 weekend ceremonial retreat, and a toolbox of meditative and somatic practices shared during a potent 2 months of immersion in Traditional Amazonian healing and Jungian Psychology.
Ancient Eastern traditions called the Buddha “the Great Physician.” Why? Because the Buddha taught how to liberate the heart-mind through seeing through all the identifications and stories we have about ourselves.
We are shaped by ideas and structures that are given to us by others, which through time become our belief system. Diving into our inner world with the help and allyship of the plants opens a window to disintegrate that which constricts and oppresses us, to set ourselves free. In the process, we’ll come to know ourselves in depth, intimacy, and expansiveness you may never have known before.
In this in-depth program, we will explore the process of expanding our conscious awareness into both the challenges and gifts of our psycho-emotional selves. Through learning, experiential practices, and engagement with the plants, we will also access the transpersonal aspects of our being, the boundless capacities available within, and how we can strengthen and celebrate this in our daily lives.
In this class we balance “doing the inner work” and receiving healing and inspiration from the Inner Healer inside of each of us. Most powerfully, we do it in aligned community of others who care about living in Truth, Love, and Service.
You’re invited to join us for our upcoming group of Earth + Essence: Traditional Amazonian Medicine + Jungian Psychology.
How we work:
Through the combination of Traditional Healing + Jungian Psychology, we address the whole being. We come to find out developmental experiences imprint the “soul,” our relationships, and the lives we create.
Subtle Body + Soul healing through ceremony and Ashaninka-style ritual
Physical Healing through Yoga and techniques for Somatic Trauma Therapy
Psycho-emotional healing and education through Jungian Psychology + Dreamwork
Relational healing through group process work, focused integration applications
Eco-psychological healing through nature connection and systems-based kinship work
